Watch as Santa lights up our famous Delray Beach 100ft Christmas Tree! Once the tree is lit, you can go inside and explore the history of our Village by the Sea with animated scenes or enjoy Santa’s Holiday Village with ice skating, a carousel, mini golf, and visit with Santa inside his house! You can also explore the Ave which will be closed that night to vehicle traffic so you and your family can enjoy food, games and activities, like a silent disco and carolers. This is one holiday event you don’t want to miss!
How a 100ft tree helped spur economic development in Downtown Delray
Did you know our famous 100ft Christmas Tree began as a 50-footer purchased by the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority in 1993 to help spur economic development in our struggling downtown? The DDA purchased the additional 50 feet of the tree in 1995 to celebrate the City’s Centennial - 100 feet for 100 years! The city has since purchased a new 100ft tree and Downtown Delray is now a destination not only during the holidays but year-round. So much history and love in our village by the sea! ❤️
