The City of Delray Beach will be celebrating Earth Day with events that promote alternatives to plastics:
April 22 - City Staff from the Office of Sustainability and Resilience will be visiting restaurants and bars along Atlantic Ave, sharing product research information. This information is designed to assist individual businesses in identifying more sustainable plastic alternatives that work for their business.
April 23 - Visit the City of Delray, Office of Sustainability and Resilience at the Green Market and discover several distributors of plastic alternative products. This is a great opportunity for businesses that want to become more sustainable to get answers direct from the source related to their specific needs.
How you can get involved: Office of Sustainability and Resilience staff would also like to hear from the restaurant and bar community regarding their experiences, suggestions or questions related to plastic alternatives, in hopes that we can engage in the future to be more sustainable and mutually beneficial.
