DESTINATION MARKETING

The Downtown Development Authority is instrumental in marketing downtown Delray Beach as a destination. A strategic
marketing plan which includes a local, national and international advertising campaign, public relations program, and digital
and event marketing targeted to visitors and residents accomplishes this goal.

TOURISM MARKETING

The Downtown Development Authority officially
took on the leadership role of destination
marketing of the city, following the execution
of the agreement signed by the City of Delray
Beach, Chamber of Commerce, and Downtown
Development Authority.
The tourism plan launched in April 2021 to create
a summer advertising plan to drive awareness and
visitation to the city and downtown. There was
also an increase in hotel stay.
Campaign placement included social and digital
channels like Facebook, Instagram, Google, and
YouTube advertising, driving viewers and traffic
to the VisitDelrayBeachFL.com domain. The
domain, which features analytical tracking allows
for measurement aligning with the Downtown
Development Authority’s tourism Key Performance
Indicators (KPIs).
