The role of the Ambassadors was to be a constant security type presence
with a hospitality side, providing customer service support such as giving
directions and information about Downtown to the public, safe walk
services for employees or customers, and serving as an extra set of eyes
and ears for safety, lighting, banners and trash.

The DDA continues to work diligently to bring this program back to the
Downtown district. We welcome your feedback:

                                                                            Downtown Market Study

                                                                            The DDA was pleased to welcome Robert J. Gibbs, AICP, ASLA, CNU-A,
                                                                            President, Gibbs Planning Group to a Town Hall in April where he
                                                                            presented “New Trends in Urban Retail Planning and Development.”
                                                                            He was hired in June to conduct a four-month study of the Downtown
                                                                            that will outline the best ratio of restaurant-retail-residential. The study will
                                                                            also comment on parking. Mr. Gibbs will return in December to share the
                                                                            findings of the study. The DDA will send a notification when the details
