DDA Behind The Scenes
Website Redevelopment & Redesign
The brand new www.downtowndelraybeach.com has launched! “The
DDA, through a public RFP process, selected VUP Media to work with for
the redevelopment of the website which has more than 500,000 annual
visits,” said Laura Simon, Executive Director, DDA. “We are excited to
share this increased visibility for our stakeholders, merchants and the
Downtown.”
Celebrating Mom Enhancements to the site include: a responsive design for all tech
devices; businesses each have a listing and landing page, a media
rich page for photo and video galleries, links to social media including
Facebook feed, and areas to promote events, sales, happy hours and
entertainment; visitors will now be able to search for information by
categories of businesses or interests, keywords and neighborhoods; and
events and promotions will have increased visibility. This is the website to
visit for “All Things Downtown.”
Downtown Employee Parking
Pilot Program
Did you know there are more than 6,000 employees
working in the Downtown area? The DDA and City of
Delray Beach have been researching and planning for the
Downtown Employee Parking Pilot Program. The main goal
is to help balance the flow of parking within the Downtown
allowing for more customer parking by providing a
convenient, safe, consistent parking area for Downtown
employees.
DDA Downtown Delray Orchid Giveaway The Downtown Employee Parking Pilot Program will be
April 30-May 7, 2016 open to employees working afternoon/evening shifts (3pm
– 12am) at the restaurant businesses west of the railroad
Customers collected tracks only beginning this summer. It will be evaluated and
then formally launched to all Downtown employees in the
$2,000 or more in receipts and received a fall. Participation is provided at a reduced rate of $20.00

CRA organized the 2nd annual We Love Small Biz
