Creative in design, concept and menu, RACKS Fish House + Oyster Bar opened its doors at the beginning of 2013.
In keeping with founder Gary Rack’s goal of establishing an unprecedented culture of restaurant dining experiences, the Delray Beach establishment sources a variety of inspiration for all aspects of its presentation. A New England seafood house featuring prohibition-style cocktails and Grand Central Oyster Bar-inspired steam kettles, RACKS Fish House + Oyster Bar will feature a unique, nouveau-nautical décor along with a responsibly sourced ocean-to-table menu that excites and inspires.
Culinary Director Demetrio Zavala was born into a military family at Fort Carson, Colorado but grew up in Delray Beach, Florida. He’s worked under many award-winning chefs in New York and Washington D.C. and has flexed his muscles on the national stage, winning Food Network’s Chopped eight times. He joined the Gary Rack Restaurant Management Group to share his love of fresh, local ingredients and return to his South Florida roots.
