BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & RETENTION
The DDA team educates, engages and communicates with new and existing businesses throughout the year.
• Hosted 10 Downtown Merchant and Business meetings as well as Merchant Socials.
• Presented the “State of the Downtown” on April 17, 2019 at the Downtown Delray Beach Property Owner & Business Owner Town
Hall Meeting, with City Partners sharing information on signage, parking, trash, events, landscaping and mobility.
• Produced the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 print newsletters, 2019 Guidebook to Downtown Delray and FY 17/18 Annual Report.
• Introduced and launched Bi-Weekly E-Newsletters – Downtown Connection and Downtown Business Connection.
DOWNTOWN REVIEW BOARD
The DDA Board is a recommending body to the City
of Delray Beach planning team and leadership for
all development-related projects which occur in the
downtown DDA district. For fiscal year 18/19, the
Board provided recommendations and advisement
for more than 40 class 5, ground up projects being
proposed for development or redevelopment, as
well as plans for murals, employee parking, awning
replacement, paint color and signage.
