Congratulations to our Downtown Delray Business on their most recent accomplishment! Check out the press release below:

"Launch Potato was recognized again on the Inc. 5000 List as one of the 2020 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America. A technology company that builds and scales digital brands, Launch Potato has had 93% revenue growth in the previous three years. This is the second time Launch Potato has been named a Fastest-Growing Private Company.

This award honors companies based on percentage revenue growth within the last three years. To qualify, companies must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent--not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies.

“We are honored to be named again as one of America's fastest-growing companies. Launch Potato has been very deliberate in both business and team growth initiatives (doubling headcount from 2019 to 2020). We continue to be committed to building a high-performance, innovative culture,” said Christine Yaged, Founder and Chief Marketing Officer at Launch Potato.

Launch Potato owns and operates a diversified portfolio of digital brands connecting over 70MMU US consumers a month with leading consumer brands looking to acquire new customers. This includes its fastest-growing brand, FinanceBuzz, an investment and personal finance platform.

This award comes on the heels of Launch Potato being recently named an Inc. 2020 Best Place to Work. These leading awards highlight Launch Potato's commitment to industry-leading innovation and team development.

Atlantic Crossing: Road Closure Update — 8.3.2020

Friday, July 17, 2020 - 3:05pm

UPDATE: As of 8.03.2020 - Atlantic Crossing Project has rescheduled the closing of Federal Hwy. from Atlantic Ave. to NE 1st St. to Monday, August 17th through Friday, August 21st between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. as it was originally, with the possibility of leaving the one lane closed if there is road damage.

In addition, we have modified the original closure beginning Monday, August 3rd  to a partial one lane closure of NB Federal Hwy. between the same hours, to be completed no later than  Wednesday, August 5th to facilitate the erection of steel columns on building III.

MOT, law enforcement, and seismic monitors will be present as originally submitted as well.

AS OF JULY 29TH:  A partial lane closure will commence August 3rd - 5th (Mon-Wed) to set steel columns.  A COMPLETE road closure construction will commence either on Monday, August 10th or 17th, and will affect the northbound lanes of Federal Hwy. (NE 6th Ave.) as well as the westbound turn lane of Atlantic Ave. until either Friday, August 14th, or 21st.

Updates on these construction plans will be posted once finalized.  For further information on the construction impact,  see below.

From Mouw Associates, Inc.:

To all business owners, residents, and guests. Beginning on Monday, August 3rd we will be removing the sheet piles along Federal Highway and Atlantic Ave. To facilitate this operation, the northbound lanes of Federal Hwy. (NE 6th Ave.) will be closed from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. each day until Friday, August 7th, as well as the westbound turn lane of Atlantic Ave.

MOT will be in place directing all vehicular and pedestrian traffic via detour signs, flagmen, and law enforcement at both intersections at Atlantic Ave. and NE 1st St. In the event that this process causes road damage, the eastern lane of Federal Hwy. will remain closed until the completion of repairs, as well as the sidewalk under the covered walkway. The sidewalk on the west side of Federal Hwy. will remain open.

In addition, this will generate noise and some vibration. We will have engineers monitoring the removal and be setting seismic monitors across from the project in front of Just Hearts and the Colony Hotel along Federal Hwy. and in front of the Blue Gallery and Hawkers on Atlantic Ave. to monitor vibrations.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause and will return everything back to normal as quickly as possible.

Delray Beach’s history is rooted in a strong black community that has helped build and shape our village to be what it is today. As we continue to grow and learn, we understand that we have an inherent duty to dismantle systemic racism and create powerful change amongst our entire community. We want to show our support for the black-owned businesses within the Downtown Delray Beach district by highlighting them, in hopes that this small act will result in amplifying their voices and give them the recognition they deserve in society. As thousands of people take to the streets to protest around the world, we are committed to change and vow to listen.
