Location: Atlantic Avenue from Swinton Avenue east to the Intracoastal
The Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Waterway.
was created by resolution as a dependent district of the City of Vibe: Electric
Delray Beach in 1971 by the State of Florida Legislature. The SOFA
main areas of involvement in downtown redevelopment include: Location: One block south of Atlantic Avenue to S.E. 3rd Street, and
Marketing and Promotion of the Downtown Development Swinton Avenue east to S.E. 5th Avenue (US1).
Authority district, Placemaking (Clean & Safe) and Economic Vibe: Up & Coming
Vitality of the downtown community. US1
Location: S.E./N.E. 5th and 6th Avenues from N.E. 4th Street to
Mission S.E. 3rd Street.
Vibe: Urban
The DDA Mission is to stimulate, enhance and sustain the
economic vitality of Downtown Delray Beach and the quality of Beachside Businesses
life enjoyed by locals and visitors.

DDA Neighborhoods

The Downtown Development Authority district is comprised of
six neighborhoods.

The Set
Location: Atlantic Avenue from I–95 east to Swinton Avenue,
and one block north and one block south of Atlantic Avenue.
Vibe: Cultural

Beachside
Location: The Intracoastal Waterway east on Atlantic Avenue to
A1A/The Beach.
Vibe: Relaxed

Pineapple Grove Arts District
Location: 2nd Avenue north to N.E. 4th Street, and Swinton
Avenue east to 4th Avenue.
Vibe: Artsy
