Celebrate Independence Day in Downtown Delray Beach at one of South Florida's most beloved traditions. For more than 50 years, the City of Delray Beach's annual 4th of July Celebration has brought together residents and visitors for a full day of family-friendly activities, live entertainment, food, and a spectacular beachfront fireworks display.

The festivities begin in the morning with beachside activities, including the popular 4's on the 4th Volleyball Tournament, a community sand sculpting contest, and guided snorkeling tours of the historic S.S. Inchulva "Delray Wreck."

Downtown celebrations kick off at 5 p.m. with the opening of the 1976 Bicentennial Time Capsule at the Main Stage on A1A, followed by the 60-foot Flag Raising Ceremony and National Anthem at 6 p.m. at Atlantic Avenue and Seabreeze Boulevard.

Visitors can enjoy:

• Live entertainment throughout the evening
• Family activities, games, face painting, crafts, and photo opportunities
• Food trucks and local vendors
• Performances by Let's Groove Tonight, DJ SoNyce, and Digital Vibez
• A wide variety of food and sweet treats

The celebration culminates with a spectacular fireworks show over the Atlantic Ocean beginning promptly at 9 p.m.

Parking & Transportation

Visitors are encouraged to park west of the Intracoastal Bridge and utilize downtown parking facilities. Alternative transportation options include Tri-Rail, bicycle access, and complimentary Freebee rides throughout the downtown area.
