The Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) produces signature events designed to bring economic vitality and energy to our vibrant downtown.

Each DDA Signature Event is thoughtfully designed to spotlight a different part of our downtown—whether it’s restaurants, retail, wellness, or arts and culture—connecting people directly to local businesses.

Our Signature Events 

From celebrating our local businesses at Art & Jazz on the Avenue, to spotlighting downtown restaurants with Savor the Avenue and Restaurant Month, to showcasing our retail shops with events like the Mother’s Day Orchid Giveaway, or supporting fitness studios and spas through our #LoveDelray Feel Good Summer campaign, these signature events are all about connecting visitors and residents to the best of what Downtown Delray has to offer.

First Friday Art Walk
First Friday Art Walk is a lively night of strolling, discovering, and soaking up Downtown Delray Beach’s creative energy. Enjoy a self-guided tour of art galleries and studios, pop-up live music throughout downtown, and an atmosphere buzzing with creativity and culture. Fun, festive, and free to explore—it’s the perfect evening for art lovers, music fans, and families alike.

Art & Jazz on the Avenue
Held three times a year in rotating downtown locations, this signature Downtown Delray Beach event blends live jazz, visual art, and community into one vibrant, street-side experience. Art & Jazz on the Avenue was created by the DDA in the late ’80s to draw people downtown and support local businesses and that mission continues today.

Savor the Avenue
We invite you to sit at the Nation’s Longest Dining Table! Savor the Avenue is a one-of-a-kind dining experience that transforms five blocks of Atlantic Avenue into a spectacular open-air restaurant for one unforgettable night. Guests stroll, sip, and savor dishes from Downtown Delray Beach’s top chefs, paired with drinks and live entertainment, all under the stars.
