The World Cup of women’s tennis is coming back to Delray Beach!
The U.S. Billie Jean King Cup Team will take on Hungary in a pivotal Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Playoff at the Delray Beach Tennis Center on November 21–22, 2026.
The two-day competition will feature the best women’s tennis players from the United States and Hungary in a thrilling best-of-five match series. The first nation to win three matches will claim the Playoff victory and earn a return to the Qualifying pool for the opportunity to compete for the Billie Jean King Cup championship in 2027.
Match Schedule:
- Saturday, November 21 & Sunday, November 22
- Matches begin at 1:30 p.m. ET each day
Saturday will feature two singles matches between each country’s top two nominated players. Sunday will include a doubles match followed by up to two additional singles matches to determine the winner.
The U.S. team will be captained by International Tennis Hall of Famer and U.S. Billie Jean King Cup legend Lindsay Davenport. Recent U.S. teams have featured top-ranked American players, including South Florida favorites Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula.
Delray Beach has proven to be a home-court advantage for Team USA, with the U.S. Billie Jean King Cup team holding a 4-0 record at the Delray Beach Tennis Center. The most recent victory came in 2023, when Gauff and Pegula helped lead the U.S. to a sweep over Austria in front of near-sellout crowds.

The Billie Jean King Cup has previously made a significant impact on the local community. Delray Beach hosted a Davis Cup qualifying competition between the U.S. and Czechia in 2025, generating more than $2 million for the local economy.
