Join the Spady Museum and Old School Square for a free screening of Roots So Deep (You Can See the Devil Down There), a thought-provoking documentary that follows activist and Soul Fire Farm co-founder Leah Penniman as she explores the dramatic decline of Black-owned farms in America and the movement to reclaim Black agricultural traditions. The film highlights themes of food justice, environmental stewardship, and community resilience. Complimentary snacks will be provided, followed by a community discussion.
