Join us for a culturally grounded, healing-centered Juneteenth Think Tank experience exploring the traditions, creativity, resilience, artistry, agriculture, foodways, and storytelling practices that have preserved community, culture, and freedom across generations throughout the African diaspora.

Featured experiences include:

Sweetgrass Basket Sewing Workshop with nationally recognized Gullah Geechee artisan Mary Graham-Grant

Florida Highwaymen art and cultural storytelling experiences

African diaspora culinary and agriculture education facilitated by Chef Lamin Sanyang and Nyota King-Sanyang

Cultural β€œRED” beverage experiences inspired by Juneteenth traditions across the African diaspora

Community planting activities, herbal bundle experiences, and seed planting takeaways

Interactive cultural art experiences and creative reflection spaces

Intergenerational dialogue centered on resilience, liberation, family, wellness, land, and cultural preservation

The Juneteenth Think Tank is designed as an intimate and healing-centered engagement gathering, encouraging meaningful conversation, participation, learning, and collective community connection.


Schedule:

Vintage Gym: 10 AM – 4 PM

Amphitheatre: 4 PM – 10 PM

The day begins at the Vintage Gym from 10 AM to 4 PM with a Think Tank Workshop & Forum featuring guest speakers, presentations, and interactive group activities designed to inspire dialogue, education, and empowerment. Then, the celebration continues from 4 PM to 10 PM at the Amphitheater for Jazz in the Park, featuring live music, a DJ, food vendors, and community information booths in the heart of Downtown Delray.
