“Shipwrecked in South Florida”

Whether for building material, profit, or adventure, shipwrecks often benefited South Floridians from the Keys to the Treasure Coast. Join Archivist Kayleigh Howald, as we explore South Florida’s many shipwrecks from Spanish galleons and British warships to Norwegian steamships and Greek merchant vessels, as well as their impacts to our local landscape, economies, and communities.

Historic Bungalow. $12/members; $15/non-members.
July 14th. 6pm social. Lecture begins 6:30pm.
Delray Beach Historical Society Bungalow. 3 NE 1st Street, Delray Beach. Refreshments served.
