Meet featured artist Pia Dugger at the exhibition opening. Dugger will share insights on her exhibit and creative inspiration, followed by a guided tour of her artwork displayed in the library’s second-floor gallery space.
Pia Dugger is an interdisciplinary artist whose work explores identity, societal expectations, and the rewriting of women’s history. She examines humanity’s intrinsic need for nature as a means of healing, juxtaposed against modern society’s obsession with instant gratification. Her art combines vivid wildlife imagery with geometric distortions like pixels and glitches, reflecting the tension between the natural and artificial. The exhibit is on display from October 1 – December 1.
Exhibition Opening October 6th from 6-8 PM
