The Cornell Art Museum will host an Artist Talk with Haitian American artist Harold Caudio on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., with the talk starting at 7:00 p.m. Titled Not Candy, the event will feature Caudio discussing his Skittles portraits, which highlight themes of innocence and injustice, and debuting a new hand-woven yarn piece called Warri-Her. He will also reveal a tribute artwork honoring tennis star Coco Gauff, with her father and grandmother in attendance. The evening includes an introduction by MG, a live interview by Shayla Dominque, and light refreshments. Caudio’s work will remain on display in the Pop Culture exhibition through September.
While the event is free, please REGISTER and consider donating to the Cornell Art Museum so that we may bring more world-class art exhibitions and programs to our community.
The event starts at 6 pm, and the talk will begin at 7 pm.
There will be a cash bar with lite bites.
