July 4th Festival and Fireworks

Come to Downtown Delray for the 4th of July!

The City of Delray Beach is excited to be hosting the 4^th of July Celebration again for 2023!  It’s been a family-friendly event for over 50 years and draws 80,000 people to our Village by the Sea.  The event starts at 5pm with raising of a GIGANTIC 60’ flag (with the help of the community and a crane) with an honor guard and the singing of the National Anthem.   

Delray Beach's celebration has something for everyone – food-eating contests, food trucks and vendors, children’s activities and games, non-stop entertainment and so much more! The spectacular Zambelli Fireworks will start promptly at 9:00pm over the ocean.  

ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE: East Atlantic Avenue from NE 6th Avenue (NB Federal Hwy) to A1A and A1A from Thomas St. to Miramar Dr. will close on Tuesday, July 4th from 12pm - 11pm.

ACTIVITIES: Food-eating contests, food trucks and vendors, children's activities and games, live entertainment, vollyball tournament and fireworks over the ocean at 9pm!

5:30 pm – 6:00 pm       Cheeseburger Eating Contest sponsored by BurgerFi

5:30 pm – 8:45 pm        Non-stop Music with DJ SoNyce (Teen Area on

Getting Around

Parking - The public is urged to park west of the Intracoastal Bridge. There are plenty of parking lots around the city. To find the closest one, visit our Parking page.
