The City of Delray Beach is excited to be hosting the 4th of July Celebration again for 2023! It’s been a family-friendly event for over 50 years and draws 80,000 people to our Village by the Sea. The event starts at 5pm with raising of a GIGANTIC 60’ flag (with the help of the community and a crane) with an honor guard and the singing of the National Anthem.
Delray Beach's celebration has something for everyone – food-eating contests, food trucks and vendors, children’s activities and games, non-stop entertainment and so much more! The spectacular Zambelli Fireworks will start promptly at 9:00pm over the ocean.
ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE: East Atlantic Avenue from NE 6th Avenue (NB Federal Hwy) to A1A and A1A from Thomas St. to Miramar Dr. will close on Tuesday, July 4th from 12pm - 11pm.
ACTIVITIES: Food-eating contests, food trucks and vendors, children's activities and games, live entertainment, vollyball tournament and fireworks over the ocean at 9pm!

Getting Around
Parking - The public is urged to park west of the Intracoastal Bridge. There are plenty of parking lots around the city. To find the closest one, visit our Parking page.

Events

Take a free guided snorkel tour of the famous "Delay Wreck", the S.S. Inchulva. Check-in/ register near the volleyball courts, on the south end of the beach, across from Anchor Park. Ten people max. per tour: Equipment provided or bring your own. Must be comfortable in open water.
